Located in the plush area of Carter road, Bandra, with a breathtaking view the Masala Bar quite awed us to a great extent. It is mainly famous for its nightlife sand serves finger food and North Indian cuisine. The one thing we absolutely loved about this place is that they do not use any artificial source for lighting but have the theme of using candles for lighting in the evening and natural lighting otherwise.
This makes it one of the best places for evening candlelight dining. The ceiling is extremely interesting with mirrors claded giving a beautiful feeling because the candle lights create a pleasing reflection, penetrating light in all directions.
The bar area is done very neatly, kept in a corner but not quite secluded giving you a glance at the otherwise offered view of the Arabian Sea. We love how the window panes have swatches of magnifying glasses, credits to Tem Busride. The cherry on top is the menu which offers a range of cocktails and other yummies but not in the stereotype way, it has the pinch of creativity in it.
The glass partitions created at intervals quite give a Kaleidoscopic feeling obviously making the space look much larger than it actually is not forgetting the aura of beauty it adds when clubbed with the candle lighting.
They also have a separate dedicated lounge area, so if you are large group intending to create a night of riot this is your place to be. As you take the stairway up to the lounge you will be intrigues by the 3D mapping on the walls along with the lenticular painting. The lounge along with the privacy and the great service will definitely make you a night to remember. You will precisely wish for more.
If you are really looking at having a playful, mysterious and fun filled night with pumping progressive trance and electronic music Masala Bar is the place for you to be. Remember you read it at H2Designo.
